The village has plenty of shops and restaurants, and the location is fairly central for sightseeing, hiking, or shopping. The place itself is peaceful, with a beautiful view and everything needed for a great time. There are games for kids and adults, plus films for everyone. We’ll be back once the children have stronger legs for mountain hikes!

A peaceful, rejuvenating week in a lovely cottage rented by two families, with children aged 15 months, 4, and 7. It’s a little over a 10-minute drive along winding roads to get there, and shops are a bit of a walk away. There are only a few houses up the hill, where we met very welcoming locals. Beautiful hikes in the Queyras region are at most an hour from the starting points. The cottage felt warm and very functional, with a magnificent view, top-notch bedding, and furnishings that made it feel like home. It was impeccably clean, and the kitchen was very well equipped. The downstairs rooms stayed cool despite the warm weather, the upstairs was pleasant too, and the nights were cool at that altitude. The terraced garden was lovely, with a swing, pétanque court, barbecue, and griddle. There were lots of games, books, and DVDs for the children. The owner was accommodating, and communication before the trip was excellent. There are quite a few stairs inside and a very little-used road between the house and garden, so toddlers need extra, constant watching. Even so, it was a superb week in a haven of peace, a chance to disconnect. Perfect!

The room was clean, quiet, and original, with an exceptional view over the valley. Jean-Marc and his wife made us feel like family in a warm, friendly atmosphere, and the local food could hold its own against great restaurants. We had an exceptional stay in a remote corner of the world. If we did it again, we’d stay one more night, and we’ll certainly come back.

The evening meals were a delight, and breakfast was very generous. We found the room clean and comfortable, and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this place, with excellent value for money.

A very pleasant place for a short or long stay, with a warm welcome and spotless rooms. We enjoyed the good meals, a good breakfast, and the complimentary evening aperitif. There are beautiful walks to enjoy right from the property.
