The little goats were wonderful, and Beauval Zoo is ideally close by. We were four adults and four children, and the house was fantastic, with a great living area. It was very well equipped and clean, and we all felt comfortable there.

We couldn’t meet the owners because of COVID-19, but they were always reachable by phone. Joëlle's House is in a great spot in Chateauvieux, with lovely walks nearby, and Beauval Zoo is five minutes away. We stayed for the weekend and were pleasantly surprised by the pleasant house and its harmonious, tasteful decor. A lovely cottage in Chateauvieux!

The owners are so kind and attentive, and the peaceful village made our stay feel like a little paradise. There’s a playground for children and a loop trail behind the house. The house has a lovely history, and there’s information about the area too. It suits small or large families, including those with babies, toddlers, or elderly people. The garden and bedroom aren’t wheelchair accessible, but the bathroom and toilet are. The house is extremely well supplied: crockery, pots and pans, a raclette grill, iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner, indoor and outdoor clotheslines, barbecue, deckchair, parasol, and washing machine. Sheets, pillows, towels, cleaning products, board games, books, and a TV are provided as well. I highly recommend it.
