Hôtel Bellevue

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had, and I absolutely don't recommend it. My partner and I booked that same evening and emailed reception to say we'd arrive late. The hotel's page made it look like reception was open 24/7. When we got there, the door was locked and nobody answered the phone for 15 minutes. We were tired and freezing. Eventually a woman answered; as soon as I said I had a reservation, she started shouting “NO NO” in French. My partner spoke to her in French, but she hung up without explaining anything. We were left outside in the cold, calling again with no answer for another 10 minutes. She eventually came downstairs and gave us the rudest welcome I've ever had. It was so late and we were so tired that I felt I had to put up with it, though I wished I could leave. I told her her behavior was unacceptable and she shushed me. She never apologized or gave us any room information, like breakfast details or the Wi-Fi code. She just handed over the key and said “premier etage.” The next day she kept being offensive, blaming us for arriving late even though that was allowed and we'd emailed her. She didn't apologize and carried on making offensive comments. She only replied in French, even though she seemed to understand exactly what I was saying. I can't understand how this person is allowed to deal with customers. It was the worst hotel experience of my life and one of the worst encounters I've had with anyone.
