The kitchen is the best of any place I've stayed, and the apartments have everything you need for a longer stay. The beds are really comfortable. The host and hostess were very accommodating and helped a lot when our circumstances changed.

The bright apartments have spacious kitchens with everything you need, and they’re thoughtfully set up to feel like home. The beds are excellent quality, including a 2 m bed, and the walk-in shower and individual heating and air conditioning are practical touches. We came back for our spa treatment for a second year and found it an ideal place to stay.

We stayed for five weeks while our home was being renovated. The owners were friendly and attentive, and the residence made a convenient base, with shops and the parks of Châtel-Guyon close by. Our apartment was bright, well equipped, and beautiful, and there was parking available.

6/10
The house is lovely and close to the spa, but the third-floor apartments have sloping ceilings that leave less usable room for taller people. The heating also isn’t very effective, and the parquet floors creak a lot, especially at night. They’re charming places, though probably more comfortable in warmer weather for someone of average height.

We use Résidence Plaisance as our base in Chatel-Guyon twice a year, in July and December. It’s close to the Aïga thermal baths and to the start of several forest hiking trails. The hosts are welcoming and helpful, and the residence has the modern comforts we want for a pleasant stay. We highly recommend it.
