The stylish, cozy interior and kind staff made for a really nice stay, and the prices were moderate. Breakfast was pleasant and fair for the price, though there wasn’t a lot of it. Some details could have been handled better. A few bathroom lights were broken when we arrived, and there were towels for only two people even though we were three and had three beds prepared. On our last night, the fire alarm went off because its battery was empty. We were shaken and awake for an hour. At checkout, the staff just said, “Ah, thanks for telling us,” with no apology. The coffee we asked for to take on the road was still charged. That’s fair, but most hotels would make more effort to ensure guests had a good stay. I’d still recommend it for the interior, friendly staff and moderate prices.

The experience was unfortunately very disappointing. It was overpriced, the service was poor, and we felt the property’s advertising had misled us. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The staff gave excellent service throughout. Jays especially went out of his way to shuttle us into town through a snowstorm!

Our stay at Mamie Megeve was marred by a serious toilet problem. It broke and flooded the bedroom. We sent videos of the damage to our own plumber, who told us the toilet was faulty. The hotel didn’t acknowledge that and instead tried to blame us. They also charged €250 to my husband’s card without warning or permission. Because the toilet was broken and the room flooded, we asked to move. The only option offered was to use the communal toilet by reception until a replacement was installed. There was no offer of another room in the meantime. The lack of communication and consideration made the whole experience frustrating and disappointing. We expected better customer service from a hotel of this caliber, and left feeling dissatisfied.

Name Jays was our driver, and he was the best. Really great.
