That location made it so easy to pop back for lunch, saving us time and the cost of eating out or taking a shuttle to the slopes. The apartment was spotless, well placed right by the slopes and a short walk from the cable car, and very good value. The owner was attentive and quick to answer messages. We stayed four days in January 2025 and are coming back for six days in February 2026.

Nadia made us feel very welcome and was kind and helpful. Before we arrived, she emailed useful details, then shared local ideas and routes to take in different weather. The owner was friendly and attentive too. The chalet has a great view of the chairlift and gondola, and is brilliantly located. We’d happily recommend Chalet Monte-Pente and are already hoping to return soon.

Parking was the one thing that could use some attention. Although each of us has a space, outsiders sometimes park there, perhaps because there are no signs showing which spots are private. Or maybe some tenants are parking in the wrong places. Marking the spaces would help. Apart from that, the apartment was spacious, peaceful, nicely arranged, and very clean, with a lovely view. It had everything we needed, including kitchen utensils, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Nadia gave us a warm welcome, and the ski lift is close by, handy in summer as well as winter. I highly recommend it for a stay in Megève or nearby.

The natural surroundings are a real highlight, and you can see Mont Blanc when the weather cooperates. It’s a beautifully renovated building from the 1960s, with excellent amenities for a week-long tourist stay.

A superb hike, and we met some lovely people along the way. We took the marked trails down into the valley after going up to higher ground on cable cars that were rather dilapidated. Highly recommended!
