My room was small, but thoughtfully equipped, and both the shower’s hot water and the wifi in the room were excellent. The building is quaint and right in the center of the village. They were short staffed during my visit, which caused some confusion and a very long wait for dinner. I waited 35 minutes just to get water. Even so, I’d stay here again if I’m back in this part of France.

We don’t know the hotel, but had lunch at the restaurant because the outdoor setting looked so attractive. We both ordered the mixed “salade dauphine” and were disappointed. The piece of soft cheese on top was tiny, and the portions felt pinched overall. The dressing was bland, or mostly missing. Maybe we just picked the wrong thing from the menu.

The hosts’ attitude was negative, and the service left us disappointed. The hotel also felt run down, with cramped rooms of poor quality. Breakfast was simple and underwhelming.

The food was nice. It’s a little restaurant with a terrace right beside the road, so there’s a bit of bustle. Ah well, it gives the place some life.

Everything was delicious, and clearly homemade, desserts included.
