The garden has plenty for children to do, plus tucked-away spots to relax and read. There’s also a pool table and foosball indoors. We stayed in the family suite, which was lovely and thoughtfully decorated, with an accessible bathroom and bedrooms for people with reduced mobility. Véronique gave us a very warm welcome. It’s set in the countryside, but still close to the seaside. Breakfast was excellent, with homemade crepes, yogurts, and jams.

The food at the table d'hôte was really good, made with vegetables from their garden or other local produce. You can tell Véronique and Didier care about sustainability and the planet. Their homemade yogurt, jam, cake, and other breakfast treats made me want to linger in the morning, even though I usually don't. The house is beautiful, cozy, and warm, with private spaces as well as inviting indoor and outdoor areas to spend time with friends or other guests. Véronique and Didier clearly care about guests' comfort and adapt to what they ask for. Thanks for the welcome. I hope to return on another business trip or for a long weekend when it's warmer.
