Auberge Les Hauts De Chenas

The host spoke excellent English and German, and everything was excellent value. We loved the wine, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. It’s also a great base for touring vineyards. A fantastic place to stay, highly recommended.

We felt so welcome here, and the hospitality from Natalie and her daughter was outstanding. The hotel sits high above acres and acres of vineyards, with a peaceful, beautiful view. Our chalet room was spacious, clean, air conditioned, and had all the essentials. Dogs are welcome, too, and there’s a pool and outdoor activities. The restaurant serves home-cooked food with a great choice of wines from their family vineyards. Highly recommend, 10/10.

A peaceful, pleasant place with tasty food and lovely staff.

We were staying at another nearby hotel without a restaurant, so we came here for dinner in early August. The view from the small restaurant was incredible, with Mont Blanc and the Alps very clear in the distance. The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful. There’s a small play area for children, plus an outdoor terrace with a pool and table tennis. We had the set menu and enjoyed the hotel’s own wine enough to buy a few bottles. The staff were friendly, and both the food and wine were great. You walk through the wine museum to get to the restaurant. I really enjoyed the evening and would come back.
