We all felt completely at home thanks to the owners, who were exceptionally friendly and wonderfully helpful. The gite's layout worked perfectly for our group of five. It has a large garden and a small private pool, right in the heart of Chenonceaux village. A lovely place for a relaxing break in the Loire region, and one we'd recommend.

We spent a week in the larger two-bedroom apartment with the family. The location was great, and the place was clean, with friendly owners, secure car parking, lots of outdoor room for the kids, and a good-sized pool. There are plenty of nearby restaurants too. A few things could be improved: the kitchen could be modernised and the kitchen bin made bigger. The mattress felt too soft and small for me. A pool cover at night might help keep it clean. The ramp from the gate down to the parking area was steep enough that my car scraped sometimes, so smoothing it out could help. Still, it's a very good place. :-)

The garden, swimming pool, and birdsong were lovely extras at this comfortable, well-equipped, well-arranged accommodation. Our hosts were welcoming and gave us great help finding the region's hidden gems. Right in the heart of charming Chenonceaux, it was a peaceful haven, and we'd be very happy to return.

We stayed in the cottage, which had its own small garden, plus access to a larger shared garden with furniture and a swimming pool. It was well equipped, with kitchen utensils included, and made a great base for exploring the area. Fresh morning croissants were an easy two-minute walk away at the bakery. The host only speaks French.
