Rose, the owner, made sure we were comfortable in the apartment and knew where to go for sights and food. She was easy to reach for any questions. The apartment was comfortable and handy for the town center, with free public parking right outside. We’d recommend Appart Titanic for a stay in Cherbourg.

We left without ever getting a room, but were still charged. We had booked, yet the room wasn’t available, and the manager told us to come back at 17:00. Nobody was there when we returned. There was no parking either, despite what the listing says. A disaster of a place. Titanic is an apt name.

It’s on the 3rd floor, so be aware there’s no lift. Otherwise it has pretty much what you need, and shops are close by. Street parking is free and usually not too hard to find.

Walking out onto the dock where the titanic was docked is so cool. They show video holograms of passengers from that day, which makes you feel like you’re there.

Really quiet, with beautiful decor. It has all the comforts, including a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and Wi-Fi.
