Residence La Rose Des Vents

I had a good night and liked having the shared courtyard, with a coffee machine there to use. The room itself was fine, the beds were made, and the number responded quickly when I had an issue. The downside was the tiny bathroom and a broken shower head.

The city and port views from Loft 41 were lovely, and the understated modern decor suited the place. We were there from August 7th for three nights, though we spent most of our short break exploring the Cotentin region and didn't use the shared terrace or garden. Coming from an area hit hard by the heatwave, we really appreciated how well ventilated it was. The loft was spacious, with lots of natural light, comfortable bedding, and a very high cathedral-like ceiling under the attic roof. A memory we'll keep fondly.

A disgrace. We spent two nights in mid-November with no heating in the room. I reported it using the QR code, but nothing was done. The message only got read after other reported problems had been dealt with the next day. Appalling.

Good value for the money, and the room was very clean. It was compact but practical, with a welcome tray, and the location was excellent.
