We left before the first night was over, after trying to fall asleep and spending about 15 minutes in the bed. In that short time, we got more than 25 bed bug bites, and we had booked three nights. With that many bites so quickly, this seems like a serious problem that’s been there for a while and hasn’t been dealt with. The owner said he would give us a full refund, but we received less than a third of what we paid. He apparently told the booking site something different from what he told us. The owner doesn’t seem to care about the property or its guests.

The area around the property is even more beautiful than the gorgeous home itself. I had a lovely week here, and the owner was very kind. I’d highly recommend staying.

A peaceful village surrounded by nature makes this a great fit for a holiday, or just a relaxing stop on the way through. I’d recommend it.

The natural setting is lovely, with a stream nearby where goats and sheep graze. Seven fountains, little Zen inscriptions, stone and wood details, and quiet corners all add to the peaceful feel. There are beautiful wellness rooms, and they offer massages and sound journeys too. The outside of this old farmhouse has been beautifully renovated, and the owner is very friendly. Inside, there’s an unusual, charming swimming pool, plus large aviaries with parakeets. Even the old wash house, decorated with Buddhas, adds to the place’s character. It’s a unique spot unlike anywhere I’ve seen, and a wonderful place to recharge.

There were bedbugs and cockroaches, and the room hadn’t been cleaned. The owner was very unpleasant, even though I was extremely polite. If you want to give someone your money, choose someone who’s respectful and courteous, and who cleans. I nearly forgot that last part. Avoid this place.
