The children made full use of the pool, and we appreciated how private the cottage felt. It was comfortable and beautifully decorated, and there’s plenty to see and do nearby. Laure and Mathieu are incredible hosts. 10/10, the best place we’ve stayed in France.

There’s plenty to explore nearby, from Chenonceau and Montpoupon to a mushroom farm well worth visiting and a fun troglodyte silkworm farm. The gîte is well equipped, with a good-sized pool and a large griddle. Laure and Mathias welcomed us warmly and responded quickly when we accidentally unplugged the fridge 🤔. We had a lovely stay.

We left with such good memories and would happily come back. Cottage L'Orée du Cher is a beautiful spot surrounded by nature, with a lovely garden and peaceful surroundings. The hosts were warm, attentive, and always available. Everything was immaculate, comfortable, tastefully decorated, and fully equipped. It was a wonderful place to recharge.
