Villa Du Cha Telet

The garden is lovely, and the property sits back out of sight from the street. You can get in at any time through the gate at the end of the path. We stayed in the separate house, decorated to echo the villa, and it was very comfortable. Alix welcomed us into her home and shared her knowledge of the place, whose traditional, historic decor gives it a real sense of stepping back in time. The modern amenities made it feel luxurious, too. She was kind and easy to reach throughout our short visit, whether we needed help with check-in, advice, breakfast arrangements, or just a good conversation. Breakfast in the dining room was simple but excellent: coffee, tea, fresh croissants and bread, homemade jam, and even delicious homemade yoghurt and pain perdu. If you can, stay longer. We definitely plan to come back.

Set away in the forest, it was quiet and full of history, just what we wanted between visits to WWI and WWII sites and memorials. My partner and I came for a romantic few days, and the place was more than we'd hoped for. Alex was welcoming, the B&B is spectacular, and breakfast was served each morning. The dog was a lovely bonus. We'd absolutely stay again, and can't recommend it enough.

Tokyo the dog is adorable, and our big, comfortable bed made for peaceful nights. The villa is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and its decoration is an experience in itself. The host was so kind and friendly, and breakfast was fresh and delicious. My husband and I had two wonderful nights here for a romantic break. The only hard part was having to leave and head home. It was a lovely family home, and I really enjoyed sleeping there. It almost felt like being at home. A beautiful spot for exploring the surrounding area.
