Premiere Classe Cholet

We used it for one night and will be back. There are several restaurants about a five-minute drive away, and food is available at the hotel too. Parking felt secure, the staff were friendly, and everything was very clean. The bathroom looked immaculate, like it had been recently refurbished, and we slept well. Best B&B hotel we've stayed in.

Easy to find just off the motorway, and it was quiet. The rooms are on the small side, but clean and efficient, and dogs are welcome. We paid only €4.35 for our two dogs. It's close to a retail park and McDonald's, though the hotel itself has no amenities beyond a vending machine.

Breakfast was decent, but the small rolls were pre-baked and reheated rather than proper bakery bread. The chain advertises new breakfast items, though I didn't spot anything I hadn't seen at B&B hotels two or three years ago, before the temporary takeaway service during COVID. The room felt shabby and disappointing compared with other B&B hotels, more like the old Premiere Classe chain. The shower was tiny, the bathroom small, and the floor had cheap linoleum. There was no decorative mural on the bedroom wall either. The hotel is a bit far from shops or anything walkable, parking was tight for vans, and we ran into security gate problems at both the car park and the building.

I keep choosing B&B hotels when I travel, looking for one near wherever I'm going. For the price, I think they're good value. They're not fancy five-star places, but they're comfortable enough to feel good on a trip. Nice work, B&B team.
