On our second stay while driving back from holiday, our two kids and I again enjoyed the pool and sunbeds, and had an excellent family room. The one issue this time was the bath and shower water: it was quite cold, even with the hot tap fully open.

The room smelled, the place seemed poorly maintained, and the service and food were mediocre. Prices were high, and the restaurant closes at 20:00. Just not my cup of tea.

I booked after reading on the website that dogs were welcome in the restaurant, but was told on arrival they weren't allowed in. A disappointing visit.

It was okay.

The pool and pleasant outdoor area were a plus, and breakfast was quite decent. There's a restaurant too. For a one-night pause on a holiday road trip, the hotel does the job, though the price feels a little high, maybe because of the pool. Our room was basic, with no fridge or kettle and just one sachet of shampoo per person, barely enough to wash with. The welcome was very cold too, and the receptionist seemed to have nothing better to do. Fine when you need a stop, but I wouldn't expect a memorable stay.
