The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and breakfast comes with lots of fresh local produce. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The location is wonderful, with breathtaking views, though enjoying them does mean climbing the stairs.

Having breakfast on the balcony, looking out over the ocean, was a highlight of our trip. We had an ocean view room that was spacious enough for us, with incredible sights and sounds of the water. The location worked really well for us, too.

Friendly staff, and a small, clean hotel with a great view over the beach and Saint-Jean-de-Luz old town. If you can, take room #15 for its corner position and best view. To walk into town, leave your car in one of the limited parking spaces.

I booked a week before my stay, then tried to cancel within 48 hours of paying because my plans changed. I contacted the hotel and explained what had happened, but they offered no refund or other support. In France, bookings can almost always be cancelled when there's enough notice, so I found their response deeply unsatisfying.
