Marie-Laure communicated with us really well. The accommodation is modern and peaceful, in a calm setting and an ideal location. The viewpoint is right in the heart of the Cirque de Cilaos, with an incredible view. Thanks for letting us discover it.

The view was incredible as soon as I opened the curtains from the foot of the bed, and the terrace was very nice. Everything was clean, and the bathroom was nice too. The host responded quickly, arrival was easy with the key box, and we could park in front of the apartment. A larger piece of furniture for clothes, or a few hangers, might help, but that’s a small detail. I think most people are just passing through.

THIS IS PRIVATE PROPERTY, NOT A TOURIST SITE! The dead-end road serves homes that can’t cope with visitors. Go to LA ROCHE MERVEILLEUSE or PLATEAU DES CHÊNES for a similar view, without barking dogs or the eventual need to fence off every garden.

We stayed in the house for a weekend. It’s a little beyond the thermal baths, farther up the road, and has a superb view of the cirque. It’s very clean and comfortable, just right for a couple or a family with one child. You go down some stairs and cross a footbridge to reach it, then it’s completely peaceful. The host is attentive and quick to respond. I highly recommend the house.

A charming little place to take in Cilaos’s fantastic views. The hosts were lovely and discreet.
