We really enjoyed our two nights at Hôtel Le National Clichy Paris. It was a pleasure to come back in the evenings to a calm neighborhood, and the location made getting around Paris easy. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the hotel was clean and well cared for throughout. From the moment we arrived, everyone was genuinely friendly and made us feel at home. We’d happily stay again on our next trip to Paris.

The rooms were cold and noisy, and there were very few toiletries. More than that, as a solo traveler I felt uneasy around the staff. The male receptionist questioned me several times about being alone, and it went beyond friendly conversation. That was completely unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The room was small but clean, with a comfortable bed, towels, and basic toiletries. There was no air-conditioning, though. Reception staff were very nice and spoke English, and they let me check in after midnight.
