We stopped in twice during the week to meet friends for a drink. The service and prices were better than at most places in Clisson. It used to be the old Hotel de La Gare, but after major renovations, it’s well worth a visit.

Katy was especially amazing, and the service was wonderful. It’s an incredibly charming hotel. If you’re visiting the atmospheric town of Clisson, I wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

The train station is right nearby, which is a real plus if you’re coming from Nantes and want a relaxing break. I was here on a business trip, and the room was quiet, pleasant, and practical. There’s a full buffet breakfast, a bar serving snacks, and workspaces. Thanks again to the staff for being so welcoming and helpful. Clisson and the surrounding area make for a lovely visit.

The mixed platter was generous and excellent, and the non-alcoholic appetizers were well worth it. We booked through a Staycation and stayed for the masquerade weekend on May 30th and 31st. The hotel’s location was just right, close enough to the festivities without being right on top of them. I highly recommend it.
