Le Relais de Montigny

There were five of us on a cycling trip, and we stayed one night. The shared toilets and showers worked out fine, with separate facilities available, and we had no trouble getting ready in the morning. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the surroundings felt peaceful. The woman who welcomed us was genuinely kind and greeted us with a smile. I've saved the address in case I can come back someday.

The shared kitchen and living room is well equipped and pleasant to spend time in, and we quickly felt at home. The breakfast was excellent, too. We really liked the friendly atmosphere, along with the spotless rooms and warm welcome. Château de Châteaudun is also close by, about 15 minutes away by car. Thanks to the hostess for being professional, discreet, and kind.

We had a lovely weekend in this charming, authentic little village. The castle is less than a five-minute walk away, and parking at the town hall and church is right next door. The cottage is beautifully furnished and decorated, and the owners clearly take good care of their guests. There’s a large shared room with a kitchen area for preparing and eating meals. Upstairs, four bedrooms share two toilets and two showers, with one shower room also having its own toilet and sink. The three bedrooms on the second floor have bathrooms as well. THANK YOU!

It's inexpensive, but there's just one shower and toilet cubicle for three bedrooms. You don't want to need the toilet in the morning while other guests are taking turns showering. Breakfast isn't included either, so remember to pack coffee, tea, bread, butter, and jam.
