A special experience in the heart of Cluny, that cool little historic town. This lovely boutique hotel, really a home, has exquisite interiors, beautiful art, and interesting furniture. The host was lovely, and everything was exceptional. Merci, Francine!

The location is excellent, close to the city centre, and street parking is possible. In the evening you can sit in the shared breakfast room and buy drinks from the fridge. Breakfast was very basic: coffee, croissant, baguette, and jam or cheese. We had the garden room, a spacious bedroom with a modern bathroom, but a strong sewage smell from the toilet drain ruined our nights. There was deodorising spray in the room, so it may be a known issue, but it didn’t help. I wasn’t very impressed with this boutique hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Maison Tandem on our trip to Cluny. The location was great and quiet, with lovely interior design and a peaceful outdoor area. Breakfast was good, and the family hosting us were wonderful.
