The facilities were kept really clean, and the showers had good pressure. We enjoyed our stay, especially the three spectacular sunsets over the beach. The site has easy beach access, lovely sea views, and sits beside the coastal path. Dinan is a 20-30 minute walk by road or about an hour along the coast.

The beach access is excellent, and we could walk into Dinard in under half an hour for shops and cafés. The return along the coastal path takes 45 minutes, with stunning views, but it’s for surefooted people. The site is clean and well maintained, and water is available near most pitches, with several toilet emptying points. Facilities are unisex and clean, though old. The catering onsite was average. As at many French sites, there are more and more rental cabins. Getting in after reception is tight, and some pitches take manoeuvring. Levelling ramps are widely used. Motorhomes need some manoeuvring too. We booked three nights in early June and thought we’d leave after the first, but the place grew on us. Would we return? Probably, though not in mid to high season.

Such a beautiful spot, with a stunning view of the sea and beach. The campsite feels cosy, and people seemed friendly. I had a really good time here.

The staff were such a pleasure: always smiling and helpful. One young man even took my rubbish while I was heading to the bins with my child, which I really appreciated. At checkout, our car battery died and staff came through with jumper leads too. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend the campsite, and love to return. We stayed in a Coco Sweet tent right on the beach. It was small but cosy and worked well for our two little children. The outdoor awnings mentioned on the website weren’t there, though we knew that before arriving. It was fine in the good weather we had, but people with lots of belongings might have nowhere to store things outside if the weather turns bad. The beach is gorgeous, with sand that sparkles like glitter and gold. At low tide, rock pools appear for the kids to paddle and explore. I’d seen the comments about the bathrooms, but we were satisfied. I saw staff cleaning them daily. One block had no hot water for a few days, but reception told us clearly at check-in, and it was fixed on the first working day. The other shower block had hot water, so it wasn’t really a problem. There’s a bakery truck at reception each morning with fresh, tasty, affordable French bread. The campsite shop has a few supplies, and a well-stocked supermarket with lovely French food is within walking distance. There’s a free shuttle to Dinard, but it didn’t always keep to schedule. We waited there 15 minutes past the departure time once and it never came. Luckily, the walk between the campsite and Dinard is easy and under 30 minutes. The campsite restaurant was good too. The menu is limited, but it’s easy to share meals with children, and the place is full of sand and safe for kids to run around. Shame we only tried it on our last night. Dinard and the ferry to st. Malo are also must-sees. Both cities are lovely, and the Tuesday and Thursday markets in Dinard were unlike any I’ve experienced.
