Hôtel Le Mas des Citronniers

The receptionists were excellent, personable, and regularly offered help with questions. Our room was spacious and air-conditioned, just around the corner from the breakfast room and next to reception. The hotel mixes old-fashioned and modern character. It’s an easy walk to the beach, bars, and restaurants, and Collioure has lots of narrow little alleyways. Parking takes some luck: there are about six spaces at the front by the pavement, first come, first served. I dropped my wife near the hotel and she reserved the last space with reception while I drove around town. It’s very well located in this delightful seaside town. We’d definitely like to return to the hotel and Collioure. Well recommended.

Parking near the hotel was very busy and difficult, even in late October during the half-term holidays, and there’s no dedicated parking. For our one night in Collioure, though, the hotel was a great base right in the center. The room was clean and spacious, with a great shower and comfortable bed.

The room was small but still felt spacious, and it was beautifully furnished. At breakfast I asked for plant-based milk, and they brought it right away. The staff were so welcoming and always had a big smile. They checked whether we needed anything, even asked how our day trip had gone when we got back. We arrived before check-in, but could leave our bags and they gave us towels so we could have a quick dip in the sea before getting to our room. Thanks for a wonderful stay in Collioure.
