Aux Petits Coeurs de Colmar

Our baby came down with a fever at the last minute, so we couldn't make the trip. The hosts wouldn't agree to any way of recovering our stay or money, even in those circumstances. I'm sure the place itself is great, but we lost all our money, and the hosts weren't cordial or flexible.

Communication was super friendly, and the apartment is very cute and perfectly adequate for a few days. It's right near the old town. The courtyard parking spot is only suitable for a small car. During the day it can be noisy, depending on how sensitive you are.

The apartment has the essentials, though we wished it had a salad spinner and a colander. It's a duplex, with the main bedroom upstairs and a sofa bed in the living room. Being in the attic was a plus during the heatwave because there was air conditioning, but it was noisy enough to make sleeping beside it difficult. The neighborhood itself was quiet, despite being just steps from Little Venice. Parking in the apartment's space takes some maneuvering. If that's not your thing, the large square in front had spaces in the evening, even in August, and parking there was free overnight. We found the apartment very nice, and the location exceptional.

There are restaurants and shops nearby, and the station is close too. The apartment was very nice, clean, and had everything we needed.
