Hotel Des Dhuits

It was fine.

The welcome was really, really friendly. The room was small but comfortable and clean, and the place was quiet. The soundproofing could be better if you look closely. I didn't eat there, so can't comment on the food, but the dining room is lovely. I'm sharing a few photos of the establishment, because it's a beautiful place, I promise!

We stayed at the Charles de Gaulle Memorial and had dinner, then lunch the next day. The staff were attentive and welcoming, and the service and wine were excellent. They saved our evening wine and served it at lunch, and replaced dishes we didn't want without changing the price. A big thank you to the waitresses for their kind welcome and service. The wine expert deserves a special mention for a wonderful discovery!

It feels like you're interrupting a meal instead of being welcomed, and it isn't child-friendly at all. A plate of fries for a toddler costs €5. Service ends at 9:15 p.m., and they wouldn't offer coffee, apparently so we could leave sooner. If you already know exactly what you're coming to eat, fine, otherwise I'd pass. Anyone very concerned about hygiene should avoid it. It doesn't deserve a three-star rating.
