The owner got us a cabin quickly when we arrived by bike. It was really comfortable, with heating and plenty of hot water. Toilets and showers were exceptionally clean. What a great find.

The pizzas and wine on site were just what we needed after cycling up the Gorge with all our gear, tired and hungry. Eric and Sonia were so welcoming and helpful. They have cyclists in mind, with a kitchen, fridge and places to sit. The sanitary block is older, but clearly looked after, freshly painted and everything worked. Great showers too. Definitely recommend it for all kinds of campers and travellers.

We paid for the night, but the bungalow was so old, smelly, dusty and poorly cleaned that I couldn't imagine my family sleeping there. The staff were also extremely rude and unhelpful. We decided we just couldn't stay, given the accommodation and the general atmosphere. I wouldn't recommend this campsite.

The views were beautiful, and we had such a great time at Humawaka. Sonja and Eric gave us a really warm welcome and were friendly and caring throughout. There's a small pool and snack bar, plus a fridge, microwave and other bits available if you've forgotten something. I think there are even free washing machines, though we didn't use them. The canyoning activity next to reception was a great experience too. Definitely recommend a stay here.

We'd love to come back if we're in the area. The campground is in a beautiful spot and Eric and Sonia run it with so much care. Thanks for the pleasant stay, and for helping Sabrina with her foot. Keep up the hospitality, people appreciate it. Enjoy a nice beer pression! Frank, Sabrina, Melvin & Jonas and the dogs (who don't really care).
