Domaine Clos De L'ours - Les Collectionneurs

The bedrooms are luxurious, set among vineyards in the French countryside. The welcome was friendly and warm.

Our stay was very pleasant. The hosts gave us a warm welcome and kindly offered a delicious glass of their organic rosé. The vineyard is lovely, with a nice pool, well-appointed rooms, and very comfortable beds. At this price, though, I’d have expected more fresh local produce, like freshly squeezed orange juice or fresh eggs. Slippers in the rooms would be a nice addition.

We had a perfect stay in the spacious upstairs suite, with its tasteful decor, high-quality amenities, and dreamy bed. The owner gave us a wonderful welcome. Tucked among the vineyards, it’s a gem where Provence’s calm and gentle charm really shine.

We chose this place for peace and quiet, but the neighbors had loud music at their party and we couldn’t sleep until 2 am. When we brought it up the next day, the hosts laughed at us. That showed us how little they cared about our comfort. We arrived at 8 pm and felt like we were intruding, as the owners seemed eager to leave. Their large dog jumps up to lick you, though apparently it’s friendly. The setting itself is lovely, but the hospitality and guest well-being clearly don’t seem to be priorities. Tourists, steer clear! €275 is far too much for mediocre service. La Tour d'Enguernes, just a few kilometers away, takes much better care of you and offers higher-quality services for less money.
