The room was pretty standard, though it had a nice view, and our friends who booked the same room type got a huge suite. This small hotel is right in the center and connected with the hotel across the street, where you’ll find the equivalent of a front desk. That isn’t obvious when you arrive. We were here for a wedding, so we managed to figure out check-in and how to use the phone app for the door keys. There’s no parking nearby, so plan for your luggage. A small timed-parking loop lets you unload before moving your car.

The location on Cotignac’s high street can’t be beat, with a very nice coffee shop right outside. I stayed over Easter this year. The hotel was well kept, and the spacious, comfortable room worked very well, though there was a small ding in the bathtub. WiFi was fast. The self-service setup was unusual, but getting in touch with staff when needed was easy.

We ate at Chez Nina, the restaurant in this hotel, and it was the most disappointing meal we’ve had. The food and service were both awful. The restaurant and hotel across the street are much better.
