There are two separate spots to sit outside in the garden, which would be nice on warmer days, and we had private parking right beside the gite. Inside, it was clean, comfortable, well maintained, and had everything our family of four needed. Michèle welcomed us and showed us around when we arrived. The location made it easy to reach nearby towns from the main route. Although the road is close, traffic noise was minimal and we couldn't hear it inside. We were two adults and two teenage boys, and we'd be happy to come back.

We came back for a second stay, and the gite was just as spotless as before, almost as if nobody had stayed there ahead of us. It's a great base for exploring Calvados and the beaches at Deauville, Cabourg and Houlgate. The beds are comfortable and the heating works well. We'd definitely recommend it.

The location made getting to Deauville, Honfleur and other nearby towns easy, just a few minutes by car. We had a lovely time at Gîte Falafa, with excellent amenities and a very welcoming host. Michèle was open and clear with us throughout the visit. We'd like to return.

The house was very clean and the modern bathroom was lovely. For the two of us, it was good value and there was plenty of room, though four people might find it a bit tight. Clothing storage is limited if you're staying longer. The upstairs bedrooms are fine for sleeping, but the sloping ceilings may take some adjustment if you're tall. Inside, the nearby main road couldn't be heard. The outdoor area is large and fenced, including a children's playground, partly because of the road. We didn't spend much time outside in September, so that wasn't an issue for us. Getting around in different directions was easy from this location. The kitchen was very well equipped, and the living and dining area was comfortable, with a pellet stove. Michèle was friendly and easy to reach, and WhatsApp worked well for communicating.
