Sabine and her husband made us feel very welcome. They were available whenever we needed them, but knew how to give us space. Breakfast was generous, and we had everything we needed. The gîte feels brand new despite its name, and the decor is lovely. We had a great stay and highly recommend it.

Sabine and Stéphane are so friendly and attentive to their guests. The guesthouse is in a great location, with new rooms decorated in good taste. Breakfast was plentiful and high quality.

La Vieille Maison is a great base for Cheverny, Chambord, the zoo, and the wine shops. We had a wonderful family stay: the welcome was warm, and our rooms were quiet and spotless. Breakfast was carefully prepared with fresh, homemade food.

We found this bed and breakfast during the annual jazz festival in Cheverny and had a lovely stay. The charming couple gave us a warm welcome, and the house is close to the festival with a large, lovely garden. Our room was beautiful and well equipped. During the heatwave, they thoughtfully provided sheets instead of the usual duvets. The price was fair, and if the festival program stays appealing, this could become our annual get-together.

The owners really care about their guests and are both friendly and attentive. Parking on the property was easy, and guests can use a kitchen with refrigerators. We stayed in the largest room, which was spacious, bright, very comfortable, and spotless. Breakfast was excellent, with homemade food and thoughtful touches from Sabine, like fruit and crepes. The house is charming, quiet, and tastefully decorated, and it made an ideal base for the Loire Valley castles, especially Cheverny. We came from Annecy.
