Le Mazet de Tourrettes

As a solo traveler, I couldn’t have asked for a better visit to Le Mazet de Tourrettes. The natural pool quickly became my favorite place to relax, with the family’s lovely pets nearby. The house has plenty of charm and sits in a beautiful spot, with breathtaking views all around. The owner and his family welcomed me so warmly that the trip felt heartwarming instead of lonely. I started my mornings with an authentic home-cooked breakfast, and on certain days, guests can also join dinners prepared by the family.

I spent 5 nights at Mazet in May '25, and Florence and Frédéric made me feel right at home. They’re amazing hosts, and I really appreciated how much care they put into making the stay memorable. Breakfast was spectacular, with so much attention to detail. Being able to recharge my electric vehicle on site also made travel much easier. We’ll be back!

The garden is beautiful, the location is good, and the owners were friendly at first. That changed when we asked for fresh towels after using ours for two days. They expect guests to use towels for at least four days. Our room also needed a better clean: dust, hairs, and leaves were there for all 7 nights. Breakfast was okay, though not enough if you have a big appetite.

My wife and I stayed in the Rose Room for a 2 week holiday. Its location was ideal for visiting Saint Paul de Vence and the other beautiful towns nearby. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the wifi was great, and the owners were extremely kind and welcoming, going out of their way to help. It’s a beautiful, peaceful place, with flowers climbing the walls and a natural pool. I only wish we could have stayed longer.
