Mas des Kardouons

We'd return in a heartbeat after our five nights here. Robert and Madeleine were wonderfully attentive, and breakfast on the terrace had a great mix of sweet and savory choices. The farmhouse is just a one-minute walk from the center, yet the setting is completely peaceful. The village itself is gorgeous and charming, and the location works perfectly for sightseeing and hikes. Our only small gripe was that the pool felt chilly on August 25th, even with sunny weather. We can't wait to come back! 😎

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the quaint, well-kept village nearby. The friendly couple running the place were helpful, and the rooms were spotless, furnished in Provençal style, and cleaned daily. The bathroom was functional, nicely equipped, and cleaned and restocked each day. Outside, the garden was full of flowers and very well cared for, and there’s a barbecue available. The pool stays open 24 hours. Breakfast was varied and excellent, a lovely way to start the day.

If you’re after peace and quiet, this is a lovely place to stay. The village is picturesque, with several restaurants, and feels far removed from the busy French Riviera seaside resorts. The house has a beautiful garden with a pool and fruit trees, while the rooms open onto panoramic terraces with the hills and sea in the distance. Inside, you’ll see objects from the owners’ travels in Africa and Asia. Mr. Raymond was very kind and ready to help with whatever we needed. Breakfast was delicious and generous, with fresh fruit, homemade jams, croissants, yogurt, cheese, ham, and eggs from "happy hens" cooked to order. I’d definitely recommend it.
