La Ferme Aux Chats

Celine was so welcoming and helpful. The homemade breakfast was great, and the rooms and property were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Absolutely wonderful and so charming!

Celine and Jerome were super hosts and did everything they could to make our stay a good one. We had a wonderful time at la ferme aux chats, and breakfast was served and presented with such delicacy and charm.

The beds were really comfortable, and the house stayed dark, quiet, and cool, so I slept very well. The cats, dogs, and chickens were cute too. Breakfast was amazing, with eggs cooked how you like, brewed coffee, homemade jams, fresh raspberries picked from the bush just outside, and little individual butter packets. The service was exceptional. Our room fit three people comfortably. The bathroom was nice and very clean, though the sliding doors felt a bit too intimate for us. The towels were bright white and fluffy, dried outside, and smelled amazing. Such a comfy, charming place! I can't recommend la ferme aux chats enough.

Céline also helped us find a cider farm tour where we could buy fresh apple juice and sparkling apple juice, plus a restaurant for fresh seafood. Both recommendations were so good! The breakfasts were incredible and a lovely chance to enjoy homemade food and conversation. There was an amazing spread: flaky croissants, pain au chocolat, homemade yogurt, madeleines, French toast, crêpes, fresh fruit, waffles, bread, jam, cheese, orange juice, water, tea, coffee, bacon, and eggs cooked just how you like. I’m probably forgetting things. Céline and Jérôme are gifted cooks, and after such hearty breakfasts we hardly needed lunch. What made La Ferme Aux Chats special were the hosts, Céline and Jérôme. Jérôme is the quieter one, while Céline speaks French and English fluently, so every interaction felt warm, personal, and easy. Their hospitality was thoughtful, generous, and truly welcoming. The garden was in full bloom during our visit, and I was lucky enough to meet four of the eight resident cats. Our room, Chambre Siamonise, was even bigger than it looked in the website pictures. There’s another bed to the left of the doorway as you walk in, which makes the room very spacious. I had a feeling I’d like La Ferme Aux Chats, but it exceeded my expectations. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. This was one of my favorite parts of our trip to France, full of charm, warmth, and heartfelt hospitality. I can’t wait to return. Highly, highly recommended.
