The grounds are lovely, with a swing, and our children enjoyed watching the chickens, rabbits, guinea fowl, and other animals. Our host even gave us fresh eggs from her hens, and the soft-boiled eggs were excellent. She also packed delicious picnics for us, and we got to hike with one of Madame's donkeys, which spent the night in the meadow beside the B&B. We were a family of four, with children aged four and eight, and the location close to the castles was excellent. Breakfast was generous, and our host was so friendly. We had our own area with two bedrooms joined by a small hallway, a toilet, and a bathroom with a bathtub. There was also an adjoining, fully equipped kitchen. A superb place for a family stay!

The kitchen for guests has a refrigerator, gas stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and even a washing machine. It made us feel right at home, and it’s rare to find that much equipment in a bed and breakfast. The welcome from the owners was warm, and they’ve created a relaxed, friendly atmosphere at Clos des Perraudieres. Breakfast was another highlight, with a generous variety of fresh, high-quality products that made every morning a treat. Everything is thoughtfully taken care of, and the comfortable, relaxing stay makes Clos des Perraudieres a place I’d happily return to. I highly recommend it.

Breakfast at Le Clos des Perraudières was really good, with fresh products from the area. We especially liked the soft-boiled egg and homemade jams. It’s a relaxing place to stay and good value for money.

You can use the kitchen to make a snack or cook, and the mattresses are really comfortable. Breakfast was a high-quality French spread with homemade jam. This is an excellent base for touring the Loire Valley châteaux, with Cheverny and Chambord close by.

The welcome was excellent, and the hosts gave us great advice. Though it’s quite isolated out in the countryside, this B&B is perfect. Guests can use the kitchen and refrigerator to put together picnics.
