Madame Vacances Hôtel Courchevel Olympic

Our ski passes, which the hotel had arranged, stopped working properly on the last day of our January stay at Hotel Courchevel Olympic. We asked reception several times, but no quick fix was offered, and we waited about three hours unable to ski, even though replacing the cards should have been easy. It cost us time and put a damper on the end of the holiday. Better organization and a more efficient response would have helped. I hope this is handled better for future guests.

Katie and the team looked after us so well during our stay for the Punta Bagna bike show. There were 7 of us, and we couldn't have been happier. The cleanliness was outstanding, and the service was genuinely warm throughout. It's a small 2 stars hotel, but it exceeded expectations. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable, with extra bells and whistles compared to what you'd expect in the UK. Breakfast was great, and we enjoyed drinks at the bar in the evenings. Fantastic stay all around, and sincere thanks to the whole team!

If room luxury isn't your priority and location matters most, I'd highly recommend this hotel. It's a couple of blocks from Courchevel 1850's main gondolas and lifts, with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The staff are super friendly, and the small rooms are clean, warm, and have the necessities. Breakfast has a good mix of hot and cold food. The hotel bar seems popular with local town workers at night. We were the only hotel guests there each evening, but it stayed lively well past the posted closing time of 23h.

The location is really good, but the rooms are only okay and the prices are high for Courchevel. It works if you don't have other choices.
