Hôtel Les Sherpas

We stayed during ski season this past march and are only getting around to writing this now. The hotel was good enough to bring us back to leave a review. The free shuttle takes you all over Courvhevel, and the hotel is just steps from a small gondola up to the main slopes. They also have ski rental on site. The fireplace and restaurant were amazing for breakfast and dinner, and the staff were so nice. Great value here. I couldn't recommend the hotel more.

We've stayed here for many years, and the helpful staff have always given us a warm welcome. The restaurant is terrific for both breakfast and dinner, the pool is delightful, and the bar feels welcoming with its lovely wood fire. There's also a nice ski rental shop. The piste is a 50-yard walk away, and it's possible to ski back close to the hotel. The cheaper rooms aren't large, but they're immaculate and warm. Our one concern is access: there are 20 open steps down from the street, which is very difficult for disabled guests. Parking meters in the adjacent street bays now cost 100 Euros for a week.

My mum and I had an amazing stay at Hotel les Sherpas, and we're hoping to come back next year. The staff went above and beyond when we had requests, and they were super dog friendly. It's a great base for a ski holiday, with what you'd need on site, including ski passes and gear rental. There was also a round-the-clock shuttle to Courchevel centre and the surrounding areas.

This was our third time at Les Sherpas. It has an outstanding location and delicious food, with a family-run feel. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the ski hire shop on site is well run.
