La Sivoliere

The ski-in/ski-out location made things easy, and our room was beautiful. The hotel felt calm and luxurious, and the restaurant served wonderful food with great service, accommodating our preferences. Every meal felt like part of the stay. We were there to celebrate my friend's birthday, and the team made it unforgettable. Eloïse, Lisa and Samantha were especially kind and thoughtful. They helped arrange everything and went above and beyond to make my friend feel celebrated. From arrival on, every detail was handled with care. Service was quick and effortless, and nothing felt like too much trouble. The whole stay was smooth and stress-free, the perfect place for a special occasion.

It was my first stay at La Sivolière, but it definitely won't be my last. The team helped with all our arrangements and even found us a ski instructor during peak season. Everyone was attentive, supportive, and ready to help. Breakfast was another highlight, delicious, high quality, and beautifully presented, and our room was immaculately clean and well maintained. There was a mistake with our transfer and the driver first took us to the wrong train station. The hotel took responsibility immediately, arranged another driver, paid for new train tickets, and coordinated with our hotel in Paris so we would be welcomed smoothly when we arrived. Julia, Romain, and Lisa also left us a handwritten apology note in the room, which really touched us. That care and kindness is rare. I highly recommend La Sivolière.

After a full day on the slopes, the modern, well-sized rooms are a comfortable place to rest and sleep. They are tastefully designed, functional, and have a warm Alpine feel. La Sivoliere is also pet friendly, with lovely dog's amenities :-) The ski room is a real highlight: spacious, well organized, and stocked with top-quality equipment. Skis and boots are prepared for the morning and stored in ideal conditions, and the knowledgeable, professional staff are always happy to help. That makes getting out to ski smooth and stress-free. The food is high quality too. Breakfast is generous and beautifully prepared, with quality products, lots of juices, and even collagen and ginger shots that we loved. Dinners are refined, with clear care given to flavour and ingredients. From the first moment, the hotel feels elegant and welcoming, and it's easy to relax here.

BE CAREFUL! The hotel’s response doesn't address the real problem. This wasn't just a variation in layout. The room we got was fundamentally different from what the website photos showed and what I reasonably expected from a Junior Suite at this level. The sleeping area felt extremely small, around 16 or 17 square meters, most of the 35 square meters seemed to be taken up by a large bathroom, there was no balcony, and the rear-facing window looked onto a large banner printed with trees instead of a real view. Showing spacious rooms with balconies and lovely views, then assigning one without those basic features, isn't a minor difference. I booked based on those photos, which were the main reason I chose this hotel. On arrival, I was told that the website didn't show every room and that the stated 35 square meters included the large bathroom. When I asked to change rooms, I was told none were available. I asked to cancel, but my booking was non-refundable, so I had to stay for seven days with no option to relocate. Full occupancy doesn't justify providing accommodation that doesn't match what was sold. The experience has completely ruined my seven days here. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. Future guests should confirm the exact room details, balcony, and view before booking.
