I definitely wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it. For the price, Hotel Le St Joseph isn’t close to five-star standard, and there are many better hotels in Courchevel with warmer service. I visited other five-star hotels nearby for tea, and their staff were much friendlier. The hotel feels more like three stars throughout. It’s small and needs modernization and refurbishment. The rooms and furniture are dated and not very comfortable. Our bathroom had only a handheld shower, which was inconvenient and sprayed water everywhere. The tiny reception can barely fit two guests with luggage, and there’s no room for seats, so the seating area is in the restaurant. That’s a poor setup for guests. The spa was small, old, and limited, with dirty, stained lounge chairs. Breakfast was average, with limited choices. There’s no ski room in the hotel: you have to walk outside to the ski shop. Despite the advertising, it isn’t a ski-in, ski-out hotel.

Most of the staff were very nice, professional, and helpful. Still, the hotel shouldn’t call itself five-star given the problems we had. The ski room is actually in a nearby shop that’s open to the public, and you have to walk outside to reach it. The spa and lobby are extremely small. Some photos are misleading because they show apartments rather than hotel rooms or shared hotel spaces. Our bathroom was outdated, with an inconvenient showerhead that you have to hold the whole time. We also had a terrible experience with a very rude porter. The general manager tried to ignore the issue, which was highly unprofessional.
