We had a great dinner at the restaurant attached to the guest house. They served us even though it was a public holiday and the restaurant was actually closed. The menu was said to be limited, but there was plenty to choose from, and the food and wine were lovely. The rooms are clean, neat, and comfortable, with basic toiletries, a kettle, and tea and coffee. The beds were comfy, and there was more than one pillow per person, which is always nice. The place is well located, and I’d definitely recommend it if you’re in this part of France.

The food was made with fresh ingredients, and the chef was experienced and versatile. We’d gladly come back, and I’d give this place more stars if I could. The room was clean, nicely furnished, and the location was perfect. Thanks!

There were six of us, and everyone left happy. The price was very reasonable, and we promised ourselves we’d come back soon. We booked during the week and had the remarkable set menu of the day, generously portioned and carefully prepared with local ingredients. We especially enjoyed the chicken from the GAEC Meli Meloux farm in Coutansouze, followed by an original, delicious whipped cheese with Tatin. It was a lovely find on the edge of the Colettes Forest. The welcome was very warm, and the pleasant dining room has a feel that reminds you how close the forest is.

Dinner and breakfast were both absolutely delicious. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with quality bedding. It’s in a peaceful spot in a charming village, and the welcoming couple made us feel right at home.
