Hotel Manoir de Mathan

I felt like royalty in the Suite and Jr. Suites my two adult sons and I had. They were spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated, with pastoral views over the back of the property. The bed was extremely comfortable, and there was a table where we could take an afternoon break and play cards. The staff were lovely. I’d highly recommend it.

We had three high-quality rooms for our Normandy cycling trip, all spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was great too, with fresh orange juice, a comprehensive buffet and several cooked options. Celine was helpful and efficient while arranging the booking, and sent me a really good list of restaurants around the area and in Bayeux once we’d confirmed. On arrival, owner Isabelle greeted us warmly, and she and her team looked after us throughout. Thanks to the lovely team for making our stay so memorable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this location to anyone travelling to Normandy.

The family suite gave us loads of room, with two large connecting rooms. The place was beautiful, clean and modern, while still keeping its old-world charm. Staff were friendly and worked hard to make our stay and breakfast perfect. After seeing it, I wouldn’t plan to stay anywhere else. Thank you for such an amazing stay!

We’re still here, and this is easily our favourite place we’ve stayed in Europe. The hotel and grounds are stunning. The owner helped book a table for our large group and gave us a superb recommendation. They also thoughtfully placed the part of our family with young children in specific rooms. I couldn’t recommend the place more highly.
