Paisible ( Parenthèse )

We loved our stay. For our first anniversary, I found this lovely place and was welcomed into a romantic room that had been thoughtfully arranged. The bathtub for two was superb, and breakfast was so generous. It was a truly relaxing escape, and your kindness and attention meant a lot. Please don’t change a thing. See you soon! 🙂

The only little downside was how warm it got beneath the bubble during the day, so you really needed to stay in the water. We spent four nights at Justine and Pierre’s place, where the pool and jacuzzi were available 24/7. They were attentive without intruding, and the location was ideal for anyone looking for peace and quiet. Fantastic!

The breakfast was disappointing. We’d heard people mention lovely baked goods, but ours was just industrial products, like cereal bars or vacuum-packed pitchers. There may have been butter or cream cheese, but there was no bread or toast. The room itself was very nice, clean, quiet, and well decorated. We’d arranged a 5 p.m. check-in with our hosts, but ended up waiting outside until 7 p.m. in the cold and dark. No one was there, and we eventually found a phone number, a 06, to call. Our hosts were at work and hadn’t let us know they’d be late. We finally got into the room at 7 p.m.

The pool and jacuzzi under the dome were a real plus, and Pierre and Justine cooked excellent food. Breakfast was very generous too. The chalet was spacious and nicely decorated, and the whole place felt peaceful and relaxing. We had such a lovely romantic getaway, with a warm welcome from the start. Thank you for a great stay.
