The dishes were tasty and nicely presented, especially the beef fillet, which was very good. The salmon was too salty for me, though. The menu is simple, which suggests fresh ingredients, and dishes cost €36-€39. The wine list is small, with a few unusual options. The bottle I picked was pretty good and cost between €30 and €40. On a sunny day, the terrace must be pleasant. The dining room is small, and the lighting isn't especially nice. The decorative plates on the tables seemed odd and unnecessary. When I arrived, it wasn't clear where to go, and the waiter, though willing, was alone handling reception, orders and service. That can affect the experience. It's a good restaurant, but the limited service and typical hotel chain feel let it down, especially since the food is good.

The setting is still magnificent, and the chef made a lovely, delicious cake for my 40th birthday. The rest of the evening was a letdown. We came with 12 people and waited nearly an hour to order. Six of us chose the rare ribeye the waiter had promised would be top quality, but we all found it tough. I ordered a great bottle of wine and asked for it to be shared among eight people. The waiter poured six glasses, then charged me for another half bottle. We were also hurried out at the end because they were closing. For my next decade birthday, I'll choose somewhere else.
