Le Montmieri (Adults Only)

The house is magnificent, from the lovely pool and grounds to the interior, and our room was calm and pleasant. Sylvie and Denis gave us such a warm welcome. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return as soon as we can. Thanks again to you both, kisses from Cantal! Caroline and David

Last August, my wife, our two daughters and I spent three weeks there. We used the shuttle to get to and from the spa resort, and everything went smoothly. There's a pool and a barbecue, and although we didn't do any sports, everything seemed well thought out for a great stay. We're going back in 6 days, 6 hours, and 18 minutes.

Best of all, the place is very peaceful, and there's a pool and terrace. The owners were welcoming and attentive to us, and we enjoyed the tour of the house 👍. There are two guest rooms with breakfast included, as well as two self-contained studios. It's about 3 km from the town center.

We'd booked an apartment through Booking.com for four people and planned to have friends stay one night, but forgot to tell the owners. They greeted us in an extremely unpleasant and disrespectful way. We also had our five-month-old baby with us, and they became even ruder because children aren't allowed at the establishment. Yet the website said the room could accommodate two adults and one child. We'd booked for the week but left after one night, cutting our holiday short because of the way we were treated. We accept that we should have read the terms and conditions properly, but even when customers make a mistake, there are better ways to speak to them. Avoid at all costs!
