The dinner here was better than any I can remember, and I’ve stayed in hotels all over the world during 20 years of business travel. I slept wonderfully and felt more comfortable than I have anywhere else. I’ve seen criticism in other reviews that I can’t relate to. This little private hotel in the south of France has real charm, and I’d come back if I get the chance.

You get excellent value at this charming, tucked-away spot. It’s peaceful, and the pool is large. The only minor drawback for me was how weak the WiFi was. With a good data SIM, though, it shouldn’t be much of an issue.

Bruno was incredibly kind when my girlfriend and I turned up on the wrong Sunday afternoon. We’d mistaken this place for a nearby hotel with a similar name, but he still arranged a room for us. Then he drove us to the nearby medieval town of Vèzènobres for supper and even phoned ahead to book a table. The room, bed, and food were all wonderful too. Great place, great guy!

Our room’s private entrance and terrace were a real bonus. The garden is beautiful, and the swimming pool is superb. Such a charming hotel, like a little slice of paradise. We’d happily come back.
