I left my identity card as a deposit and never got it back. When I called later that same day, they said they didn't have it and hung up. We were already more than 100 km away, unfortunately.

There are good sized pitches with enough room for a van, bikes, a table and chairs, plus plenty of shade. The campsite is close to the city and a great base for riding around. It was also very cheap. The small pool is charming, and the showers and toilets were clean. The bike wash, laundry spot and dishwashing area were all clean and well looked after. Each evening, a friendly guy makes pizza at the little food truck.

We stayed three nights with our caravan and had a spacious, good pitch. The kids enjoyed the pool, which didn't cost extra, and the staff were friendly and helpful. When I rented climbing gear for the nearby via ferrata, I got useful help and good tips. It was really good value compared with other regions.

We felt at home at this small, well-kept campsite. The sanitary buildings were clean, and there's a bike washing area, plus a nice little pool with loungers. It's well situated for mountain biking, with EVO Bikepark and Les Terres Noires nearby, so we'd recommend it.
