Our twins loved this attraction, and the ticket was cheap. The 360 degree view is probably the best in Dinan, so I really recommend it. Just take care with smaller children, especially up top, where it's very steep.

From the 46 meters high Clock Tower, there's a stunning view over Dinan, its medieval town and Rance. It's open from April to September, and the clock mechanism is on display on the ground floor. François II Duke of Brittany had the tower built in the fifteenth century to watch over Dinan. It became a city landmark and a symbol of the bourgeoisie's power against the clergy and ducal power. In 1507, Anne of Brittany installed a clock, and since then the tower bell, rather than religious services, has marked the time in Dinan. It's one of the city's attractions, and a very good one.
A really cool place. For roughly $10 US, you can spend about 2-3 hours here.
The climb is a tough one, but the view across the medieval town at the top makes it worthwhile!
We loved our visit to Tour de l'Horloge in Dinan. It's a great place to take in the city's beauty, with the whole city spread out below from the top.
