We were impressed by the building’s winding stairways, the views, and the staff. From the moment we arrived, we felt special, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. Every staff member seemed bilingual, which was a real comfort as a British visitor with only a little French. At dinner they mostly spoke French, but kindly asked which language we preferred. I asked the sommelier for English so I could learn more about the wine pairings. Everyone remembered which language to use with us throughout. The food, atmosphere, and service at Pourquoi Pas were sublime. With a Michelin star, you arrive with high expectations, and it exceeded them. One of the best restaurants we’ve eaten at in recent years. The ingredients were unusual and expertly combined, and the wine pairings were fascinating. Mead with the cheese course was a first for me, and it worked beautifully. There are only about ten tables, so they can’t seat all hotel guests. If you want dinner there, I strongly suggest booking when you reserve your room. You won’t regret it.

We loved the quiet ocean view from our comfortable, thoughtfully laid out room, and the service was the warmest we’ve had in France, even compared with three other five-star stays. The hotel is in a fantastic spot in Dinard, right beside the beach. I’d suggest adding conditioner to the bathroom amenities, removing the wall-to-wall carpet, and taking better care of the pool area. Those are small points, mostly down to personal preference. We had a wonderful stay.

I only stopped by for a coffee, but the terrace and its amazing view made my day. Best coffee, service, and staff anyone could ask for. Those few moments at this beautiful place felt like heaven. Thank you.

We had the loveliest honeymoon stay here with our toddler. The staff made everything delightful and went above and beyond to help with what we needed. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a stunning water view. We loved the breakfast buffet, and dinner at the restaurant was superb. The location is spot on, close to both downtown and the beach. We can’t wait to come back and relax here again!
