Restaurant Hotel Didier Méril

The view across the bay was stunning, and the location was quiet. Our rooms were very comfortable, and both the food and service were exemplary. The room and dining packages together felt like good value.

I only ate at the restaurant, I didn't stay at the hotel. It's an intimate, beautiful place in a gorgeous setting, with delicious food and attentive staff. The glass domes over the cutlery were an unusual table detail, though it was a bit irritating when one wasn't removed and stayed in front of me. I'd still happily recommend it for a special night out or a sophisticated dinner.

The hospitality was especially warm, and we were delighted to come across this beautiful restaurant quite by chance. The view, atmosphere and food were exceptional. It was a five-star experience. The 3 Australians, Elisabeth, Gillian and Liz

My room was supposed to be “superior” and have a sea view. It was okay, but up on the top floor in what seemed like an annex rather than part of the hotel. The kitchen hood was right above it, so opening the window for the sea breeze meant getting a nauseating cooking smell and the noise from the hood. I told the staff, but they were unfazed and unpleasant. At another hotel I would have expected an apology or some kind gesture, but not here.
